Our client is a well-established international company in the premium retail segment in the heart of Zurich. To strengthen the local operations team, we are currently looking for a hands-on and reliable Logistics & Operations Coordinator (m/f/d) for a temporary assignment of 6 months. Based on performance, there is the possibility of an extension or even a permanent takeover.

Description

To be considered for this position, the selected candidate brings the following qualifications:

  • Coordinate domestic and international merchandise transfers, including returns, repairs, loans, and event-related shipments
  • Prepare and manage all required logistics documentation in line with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with logistics partners and internal departments to ensure smooth transfer processes
  • Perform regular stock checks and support with inventory reports and audits
  • Maintain a well-organized vault layout
  • Support salon display changes and visual merchandising updates
  • Monitor and reorder salon and operational supplies
  • Follow all security and compliance procedures related to stock handling
  • Support opening and closing routines
  • Act as backup for the Operations Manager when needed

Profile

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on logistics or retail
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Background in logistics or operations is a strong plus
  • Experience in luxury retail is highly preferred
  • Business fluent in English, with very good German skills required
  • Additional languages are a strong asset
  • Confident user of MS Office and internal ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of merchandise flow and stockroom processes
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, with a high sense of responsibility
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
