Evaluate and define the category/purchasing strategy for all kinds of electrical/electronical parts
Manage the assigned category budget of around 15 million CHF p.a.
Negotiate all major framework agreements within the category
Participate in development teams for new products, services and solutions (R&D, IT)
Optimize networking capital under consideration of availability of the parts and optimize the stock value
Ensure complete master data management for procurement in the category
Build up an efficient reporting system
Define and monitor targets related to the category
Support use of e-procurement systems and ensure full evaluation of potential opportunities
Support project buyers
Report to the Head of Procurement
Technical education or comparable background
Degree in engineering or a related technical field advantageous
At least 3 years’ work experience in procurement, project buying or category management in a global organization beneficial
Deep know-how of electrical/electronical parts in Eastern Europe and Asia advantageous
Experience in international process/project management
Ability to create strong contractual agreements with a minimum of legal assistance
Very good communication skills in written and spoken German and English
Proactive and persistent character with a positive mindset and an integrative personality
Strong analytical skills, a structured way of working and a hands-on mentality
Willingness to travel worldwide, especially in Eastern Europe and Asia (approx. 25%)
