We are licensed by Cambridge Assessment English to market and organise the Cambridge English Exams in Switzerland, and by Goethe Institut to market & organise Goethe German exams in Switzerland. For the Exam Operations team in our head office in Winterthur we are looking to fill the position of:
Material & Logistics Coordinator (80-100%)
The Exam Operations Team is responsible for the administration of the Cambridge English Exams & Goethe German exams. They take place in various locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
As part of the Exam Operations Team, the Exam Material Coordinator is responsible for:
Processing of exam material orders
Secure and orderly storage of exam material
Cross-checking and preparation of exam material for the exam day
Planning and execution of the secure delivery and return of exam material
Scheduling and timetabling of candidate registrations
Co-ordinating arrangements for candidates with special requirements
Updating exam day instruction booklets for exam staff
Working as exam supervisor and exam support
Supporting the Manager of exam operations in various projects
To qualify for this position, the following qualifications are necessary:
Commercial education (eg KV) or equivalent
Proficient level of English (minimum CEFR level C1, CAE, preferably C2, CPE)
Proficient level of German
Very good IT user skills (MS Office programs, databases, internet and online tools)
Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail will help in processing exam material orders and deliveries. As certain delivery deadlines must be adhered to, it is essential to have exceptional time management and planning skills. Previous experience in project management is an advantage. We are looking for a flexible and adaptable person, comfortable with a high degree of responsibility who can work well both independently and in a team.
