Country Sales Manager - Consumer Goods Industry
Our client, a global key player within the Consumer Goods Industry, who with one of its brands produces niche market Consumer Goods products, is looking for a Country Sales Manager for Switzerland.
In this challenging and exciting role you will be responsible of the development of demand and sales in the country, which will help to establish this company as the premium provider of choice. You will play an integral role managing the existing customers and new business pitches to acquire new customers and projects
Fully responsible for the business including the P&L of the Swiss Business
Build and retain a winning team of entrepreneurial and assertive staff
Acquisition and identification of new customers and opportunities within the target market in order to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities (Business Development)
Building and maintaining a Network with key decision makers in the industry and ensure a running business by keeping them updated on products (Account Management)
Responsible for budget allocation and expenditure control in accordance to company's financial requirements.
Accelerate brand awareness and demand with effective positioning, marketing assets, product education, enhancing the products competitive differentiation
Setting up and expanding solid customer relationships through excellent customer service and follow-up of customer complaints
Providing quick customer service, propose solutions and actively support the sales representative activities by leading by example
Gathering customer information and maintaining a customer database
Continuous and intensive analysis of market and planning of appropriate measures for the efficient exploitation of the potential
Ensure company compliance with local laws and regulations, in particular with employment and fiscal applicable laws
Travel to the key cities to generate new business opportunities
Analyse and provide accurate reports on the developments, achievements, and trends at regular intervals to insure achievement of objectives

We are looking for a talented candidate with previous experience working for one of the Top Tier companies within the Consumer Goods Industry (especially FMCG). We are searching for a candidate with strong education background and a good entrepreneurial mind set. The position should be a perfect match for a candidate with between 8 to 10 years of experience in this segment.
The ideal candidate should speak (Swiss) German as the first language and fluent English. French would be a added value.

This role will be based in the Zürich region but responsible for the entire Country, therefore it may be required to travel in Switzerland for a significant part of its time and occasionally abroad
