The purpose of the role is to as an integral part of the team win new clients and increase business from existing clients one or more countries or a specific region to oversee management of relationship with all clients in their territory as the key AIC contact to ensure that revenue from the designated territory meets or exceeds the planned budget and to decide sales strategy within territory in conjunction with management and in line with overall company goals.

Key relationships are with
Externally Customers and other stake holders.
Internally FIT Sales Support/Pricing/Operations Hotel Destination Services Sourcing IT Product and Operations Credit Control.
Identifying potential new customers and pursuing opportunity until customer is signed up and producing bookings including customer training advice and guidance
Contacting existing customers to get feedback and report this feedback into the business service departments as business requirements
Providing support to customers for product requirements promotions etc. with the assistance of sales support pricing and sourcing depts.
Escalation point for Credit Control and technology issues with customers
Reviewing customer base and proposing sales strategy for their territory
Providing sales forecasts sales budget proposals and commercial proposals for customers in territory
Core responsibility is to achieve budgeted sales within territory in line with company targets.
Make commercial decisions daily to ensure that AIC has strong customer base and business mix in the territories
Utilize market and customer knowledge to decide whether AIC will work with particular customers and account management decisions on commercial terms business decisions on specific situations
Make decisions for contracts with customers and makes recommendations for any contracts on non-standard terms. Contracts are signed and approved by CEO
Achievement of revenue/profit targets for territory in accordance with goals set by the company
Timely production of considered sales forecasts and budget projections
Customer base and market strategy reviewed annually with appropriate proposals made to management
Delivery of customer satisfaction
Achievement of territory/customer specific goals as agreed with management periodically.
Knowledge skills and experience
Essential knowledge and experience
Must have a significant expirence within tourism industry
Must have an understanding of XML based connectivities
Negotiating ability at all levels of customer operation
Highly developed communication and decision-making skills
Able to present and influence at board level
Organized self-starter with ability to motivate others
Fluency written and spoken in English other language a plus
Required to attend trade shows etc. at times as needed.
IT literacy MS Office and ideally also the analytic system Triometric
Business-to-business sales experience essential preferably in a service industry and ideally in the hospitality or travel distribution industries
Strong commercial orientation
Ability to understand and communicate technology concepts to customers
Graduate caliber education or equivalent.
