Head of Sales and Marketing UK Europe
For our client a young start-up division of a well-established pharmaceutical and ingredient company we are looking for a Head of Sales and Marketing for UK and Europe.
The company offers a range of clinically proven herbal remedies food supplements that can be used to prevent or relieve symptoms of many common ailments and are an alternative to conventional medicines. The finished products will be launched in Europe in 2017/2018 and the company is currently searching for a motivated marketer and business manager with passion for natural products to bring their vision to life. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a true family company with a lean structure and fast decision making.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating the regional sales and marketing activities in Europe reporting to the Headquarters.
The responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to
Leading the launch of the products in the UK and the expansion across different EU markets
Responsible for identifying business and distribution opportunities a on a EU level
Developing and implementing Sales and Marketing strategies at a EU level
Creating and carrying out launch plans and projects Product Claims Price Promo Positioning Packaging Advertising for different products in the portfolio
Supervising a team of Sales Marketing Managers based in Switzerland and other European countries
Monitoring the go to market day-to-day execution and local agency work
Traveling across Europe if necessary
Location to be discussed
10+ years Business Development Experience incl. Sales and Marketing B2B and B2C
Nutraceutical Phyto-pharma Consumers good or food industry background is mandatory
Proven track record in opening new markets in Western Europe countries
Proven experience in introducing new products in the European markets
Passion for natural products and herbal remedies is essential
Decisive personality hands-on proactive and entrepreneurial able and willing to work independently to introduce the brand to several markets in Europe. Able to adapt to changing market environments.

English perfectly fluent
French good knowledge and/or any other European language will be considered as an asset
