This role will allow you to play a key part in developing, implementing and executing our market strategies while managing and supporting distribution partners and regional sales engineers.

Regional Sales Manager East Asia (100%)

Your role 
  • Develop and execute the market strategy for East Asia (China, Japan, Korea, and potential future markets).
  • Build and support distribution partnerships, including sales and technical repairs and integration enablement.
  • Manage and coach local sales engineers to achieve targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle key accounts in collaboration with local distribution partners.
  • Represent coatmaster at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Perform market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Regularly travel to East Asia (> two weeks per month) to support partners, key customers, and on-site activities.
Your profile
  • Experience: extensive experience in sales management of B2B technical products, ideally within the industrial coating or a relevant production sector.
  • Education: technical or business degree, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Language: proficiency in business English is essential; Mandarin, Japanese, and/or Korean are highly desired. German is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Location: based in a region with convenient access to Winterthur / Zurich and an international airport (e.g., Switzerland, Southern Germany, Austria, or Eastern France).
  • Skills: strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work autonomously and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Mobility: willingness to travel extensively (50-70% each month) to the relevant markets.

Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Winterthur, Switzerland, we have installed countless coatmaster devices in highly automated production lines. Our team of around 30 employees is active in the areas of Sales, Customer Services, R&D, Operations, and G&A.
