Job description

Main responsibilities among others include:

  • Supporting the Store Manager in leading the team
  • Acting as Deputy of the Store Manager in his/her absence
  • Driving Sales
  • Customer acquisition and retention
  • Ensure the whole organization and running of the store together with the SM

SALES:

  • Lead by example in service and customer care.
  • Knowing the different collections and their products (style, material, tendencies etc.)
  • Achieve Sales goals and cross selling.
  • Guarantee of a perfect customer reception and service.
  • Ensure aperfectappearanceof the storeand optimumproduct presentation(display cases, counters andfurniture)
  • Support of otherstaffduring thesales(service,gifts, etc.)
  • Contribution to the achievementofbusiness goals.

Representationof the StoreManager:

Administrativeactivities, in the absenceof the StoreManager oron their behalf:

  • Anycustomer orders.
  • Ensurethat sufficientmaterial is present(bags, gift boxes, batteries, etc.)
  • Ensurethat sufficient office material is present
  • Communicatingwith the head office(parameter, e-mail, telephone, if specificcustomercases, by appointmentor on behalf ofStoreManagers
  • Implementation and evaluationof theLinkage

Team leading, in the absence of the Store Manager or on their behalf:

  • Organizethetraining of newemployees(Swatchregulations, ); Training ofemployeesonnew products
  • Delegating Tasks toemployees,if possibleand depending on theability ofemployee
  • Organize the working day (Administrative, stock, breaks ...)
  • Keep the Linkage Book and train new employees to use it.
  • Motivate the team
  • Arrangement of motivating sales targets

Collaboration with the Store Manager:

  • Forwardingimportant informationrelating tothe daily businessoftheSM
  • Keep Store Manager up to date on employees
  • Respecttheguidelines of theStoreManager andrepresentedthis to the team
  • Open communication with Store Manager
  • Completing afurtherdelegatedduties of theStoreManager (if something is unclear ask Store Manager)

Profile

Besides his main tasks/goals, to excite the customers and respect the brands policy, the Assistant Store Manager must fulfil the following mission:

  • Leading of a team in collaboration with the store manager
  • Boost the sales
  • Setting the brand into scene
  • Ensuring the organisation as a whole and management of the store in collaboration with the store manager

Professional requirements

  • Education as a salesperson in retail and /or education as a sales coordinator with commercial skills as an advantage
  • Experience in sales and leadership of a store and its sales staff, or as assistant store manager
  • Customer oriented and customer friendly
  • Takes on initiative
  • Experience in PR and marketing activities
  • Being proficient in sales strategy
  • Numbers oriented
  • Commitment
  • Representing the brand Swatch
