National Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
Position
The incumbent is responsible for the leadership of the Key Account team, including the development and execution of the Key Account strategy and the achievement of commercial targets. The role ensures that key account investments deliver maximum value in line with the company’s strategic priorities, while building and sustaining long-term partnerships with key accounts.
Responsibilities
As the National Key Account Manager, you will…
- Prepare and execute comprehensive Key Account strategies and operational plans that are aligned with JTI’s overall strategy, portfolio objectives, and long-term vision
- Develop a deep understanding of each Key Account’s structure, strategic objectives, decision-making processes, and analytical capabilities
- Lead joint business planning to define investment, volume, and profit targets, as well as multicategory development plans aligned with JTI’s portfolio and activation strategies
- Develop and implement impactful selling and negotiation strategies that emphasize value creation and align with the strategic objectives of KA
- Manage effective internal cross-functional communication, to ensure cross-functional contribution to account planning and negotiation strategies
- Recruit, motivate, and guide the professional development of the team, reporting directly and indirectly, as well as ensure continuous capability building through regular performance monitoring, feedback, and knowledge development
Requirements
- University degree in M&S and/or Business/Economics or equivalent education
- Solid experience in Sales/ Key Account Management, preferably in an FMCG company, as well as proven leadership experience are a must
- Fluent in German and English, a good command of French is a plus
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, SAP/Power BI
