At coatmaster, we bring innovation to surface measurement. As the Sales Manager for Western Europe (Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, UK, Benelux), you will play a critical role in developing and growing our customer base in this strategically important region. With a strong focus on distribution partners and end users, you will drive the adoption of our unique contactless coating thickness measurement solutions. You will shape regional distribution and sales strategiesand ensure customer satisfaction through outstanding customer support. Your entrepreneurial spirit, network in the coatings industry, and commercial drive will contribute directly to coatmaster’s success in Western Europe, with the option for future responsibility also for other countries in EMEAI.

Your role 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with regional distribution and service partners
• Grow our end user base with a strong focus on industrial customers 
• Drive sales excellence by contributing to forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management 
• Represent coatmaster at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events 
• Conduct technical hands-on product demos and user training, both on-site and online 
• Ensure outstanding service quality for existing and new customers 
• Monitor market developments, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities 
• Collaborate with the product teams to ensure customer needs and application trends are reflected in our solutions 

Your profile 

• Education: university of applied science or higher education degree or equivalent training in engineering, business, or a related field 
• Mindset: entrepreneurial, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of regional business development 
• Experience: proven track record in technical B2B sales and account management, ideally in the coating, surface treatment, industrial automation or metrology sectors 
• Skills: strong customer mindset and hands-on approach to technical support and troubleshooting, strong negotiation and communication skills 
• Toolset: familiarity with digital tools, CRM systems, and structured sales processes 
• Languages: fluent in English and at least one of the following: Italian and/or French and/or Spanish 
• Mobility: willingness to travel extensively across the region 
• Location: based in a region with convenient access to Winterthur / Zurich and an international airport (e.g., Switzerland, Southern Germany, Northern Italy, or Eastern France)
