Do you want to build a life sciences equipment business from scratch?

Our client is a Chinese company for premium products in the field of biotechnology equipment (freeze dryers, automatic solution preparation systems, aseptic filling systems etc.) Customers are CDMOs, biotech and pharmaceutical companies along the entire pharmaceutical value chain, primarily for production and packaging of active pharmaceutical compounds.

To develop the business in the DACH region, we are searching for a strategically minded sales personality in the role of

Region: DACH, 100%

What’s in it for you: 

• You build the bioprocessing equipment business from scratch with a broad and competitive product portfolio
• You will have a key position within the organization in Europe
• You will work internationally and interculturally (Asia, Italy, DACH etc.)

Your key responsibilities:

• You advise customers on large capital equipment for the production and packaging of active pharmaceutical ingredients (e.g. fill/finish lines)
• You develop the marketing and sales strategy for the DACH region
• You build long-term customer relationships in the CDMO, biotech and pharma market and develop a strong sales pipeline
• You manage customer projects from conception to factory acceptance tests
• You develop the company's brand awareness in German-speaking countries

Your profile:

• You have more than 5 years sales and/or business development experience for production equipment in the life sciences industry in Germany, Austria or Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of the needs of CDMOs, biotech and pharma customers
• Existing network in the life sciences industry in the DACH region
• Native German speaker and very good English skills (at least C1)
