Our client is a well-established international company in the premium retail segment in the heart of Zurich. To strengthen the local back-office team, we are currently looking for a hands-on and reliable Administrative Specialist (m/f/d) for a temporary assignment of 6 months. Based on performance, there is the possibility of an extension or even a permanent takeover.

Description

To be considered for this position, the selected candidate brings the following qualifications:

  • Coordinate domestic and international merchandise transfers, including returns, repairs, loans, and event-related shipments
  • Prepare and manage all required logistics documentation in line with internal policies and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with logistics partners and internal departments to ensure smooth transfer processes
  • Perform regular stock checks and support with inventory reports and audits
  • Maintain a well-organized vault layout
  • Support salon display changes and visual merchandising updates
  • Monitor and reorder salon and operational supplies
  • Follow all security and compliance procedures related to stock handling
  • Support opening and closing routines
  • Act as backup for the Operations Manager when needed

Profile

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications:

  • Successfully completed commercial diploma
  • More than 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in the jewelry/watches industry is a strong plus
  • Business fluency in English and German
  • Confidence using MS Office and ERP systems
  • A solid understanding of stockroom processes and merchandise flow
  • Quality awareness and attention to detail
  • Team player with a collaborative spirit
  • Brings a structured and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to maintain clarity and control even under time pressure
  • Proactively engages in operational matters, with a solid understanding of retail processes and a hands-on, can-do attitude
