We leverage our expertise to design and built time-of-flight mass spectrometers (TOF-MS) bringing space technology to Earth. Our instruments are compact, robust in hazardous environments and bring the leading edge to industrial process analyses.
Our focus lies on semiconductor manufacturing and the issues of process engineers at end-users (foundries) and OEMs (wafer fab equipment). Our products redefine real-time analysis of gases and enable higher process efficiency with lower scrap rates and therefore better overall yields.

In this role, you will be the bridge between Spacetek’s cutting-edge technology and our global customers. This leadership role combines technical expertise with strategic sales acumen—you’ll lead the technical sales function, drive global customer engagements, and work closely with engineering and product teams to align solutions with market needs.
Your role:
- Lead and manage the technical sales process from initial engagement to post-sale support
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective and existing customers
- Translate complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions
- Collaborate with business development, product, and engineering teams to craft tailored proposals and demonstrations
- Develop technical documentation, sales tools, and training materials
- Represent Spacetek at key industry events, tradeshows, and customer meetings
- Gather and relay customer feedback to inform product development and roadmap priorities
- Build and lead a high-performing technical sales team as we scale
Your profile:
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or applications engineering—ideally in aerospace, semiconductors, or deep tech
- Strong technical foundation in mass spectrometry, gas analysis or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience engaging with global enterprise or government clients
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-evolving startup environment
- Fluency in English; German or other languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and industry events

Spacetek is based in Gümligen (10 minutes outside the city of Bern), in Taichung (Taiwan) and in Hwaseong (South Korea), with a team of 30 employees. The place of work for this advertised position is at the headquarters in Gümligen (Bern).
