Lead the growth and development of our Human Nutrition and Care (HNC) business across EMEA. As Senior Commercial Manager, you will drive our regional strategy, foster cross-functional collaboration, and engage with key stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer needs and market demands.
Your key responsibilities
- Translate global pricing strategy to a regional Industry level and ensure implementation across the European organization
- Realize the sales objectives of HNC EMEA through provision of direction, guidance and coaching regarding commercial targets, pricing strategy, supply situation and market overview across the HNC EMEA sales teams
- Develop sales and profit budgets for the HNC EMEA organization and translate these into KPI’s
- Manage and monitor the supply chain and inventory levels in order to ensure availability. Take responsibility for allocation decisions in times of shortage
- Manage interfaces with HNC Global Commercial Management, other regional sales organizations, Product Management, Premix organization, Logistics, Customer Services, Finance, QA and SHE as well as the NBD, TTH and P&B

You bring
- University or higher level of education in Chemistry/Food technology or Business Administration & knowledge/understanding of market dynamics of Nutrition Ingredients industry
- 10 years or more of Commercial, Sales and /or Product management experience including an excellent product strategy and portfolio knowledge; Marketing experience is a very strong plus
- Very good understanding of marketing-mix strategies and the dynamics of price/volume characteristics of a highly competitive market
- Excellent understanding of HNC business strategy and goals. In depth knowledge of dsm-firmenich strengths & weaknesses vs competition
- Assertive, strong decision maker with demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in particular, able to translate complex topics into simple persuasive arguments
