International Billling & Collections Account Manager - English plus any other mother tongue language (Spanish or Polish a plus)
Job Description:
You will contact consumers, insurance companies and law offices worldwide, by phone and in writing, to ensure the collection of past-due balances on our clients’ accounts.
Research information about consumers, locate addresses and obtain contact details, negotiate settlements and establish payment plans.
Duties:
- Communicate with debtors and insurance companies in a professional, assertive and courteous manner.
- Bill insurance companies and follow up on claims processing.
- Locate debtors worldwide, utilizing specialized training, databases and debt documents.
- Notify debtors of unpaid accounts by mail and telephone (85% outbound collection calls)
- Persuade debtors to pay, negotiate settlements and establish payment plans.
- Document collection activity accurately and concisely.
- Resolve disputes by acting as the liaison between creditors and debtors.
- Maintain a high volume of daily, direct communication with debtors and insurance companies.
- Perform administrative duties such as answering correspondence, preparing requests for clients and writing reports.
- Maintain a high standard of compliance with international debt collection and privacy protection laws.
- Achieve and maintain above industry standard collection rates.
Requirements:
- Must be bilingual, able to read, write and speak English to a very proficient level and be a native speaker of another major language.
- Excellent communication, listening and negotiation skills.
- Assertive, clear and effective communication style.
- Self-driven, high energy and impeccable work ethic.
- Goal oriented
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Reasoning ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and solve problems
- Resilient and stress resistant.
- Keyboard proficiency and computer literacy.
- Must be a Swiss resident holding a valid work permit.
Nice to have:
- Experience in third-party debt collection, sales, or call centers.
- Knowledge of travel or medical insurance claims would be a plus.
