Technical Sales Manager (m/w/d) 80-100%
Our client, a fast-growing technology leader in the engineering sector, is renowned for developing and manufacturing high-performance, oil-free turbo compressor systems. With a global customer base spanning industries such as automotive, stationary power, marine, and aerospace, they are looking to expand their sales team to support ongoing growth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical analysis of customer-specific requirements and develop tailored proposals, utilizing either standard products or customized solutions.
- Manage and enhance existing customer relationships while efficiently handling incoming inquiries.
- Proactively acquire new customers and expand the existing customer base.
- Lead the sales process from lead generation to deal closure in a structured and efficient manner.
- Prepare both standard and custom quotes to meet diverse customer needs.
- Oversee technical product management tasks, including the development and updating of datasheets, manuals, and product specifications.
- Coordinate customer projects, liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support various project management and operational tasks as the organization continues to grow.
Your Profile:
- Degree in engineering (ETH/UNI/FH) or an equivalent qualification, complemented by commercial training.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in sales, ideally in a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager role within the automotive sector.
- Experience in technical project management or development for industrial clients.
- Knowledge of turbo compressors and/or fuel cell systems is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a creative, hands-on approach.
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
- Fluency in both English and German, with additional languages being an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly (20-30%) for customer visits and industry events.
